Wexford Health has an exceptional opportunity for a Full Time (30hr./week) Training and Program Development Assistant to join our team of healthcare professionals at our Corporate Office in Green Tree, PA.

POSITION SUMMARY

Under supervision of the department Lead and in coordination with the department Coordinator, performs a variety of associated clerical, administrative, record keeping and/or specified information-gathering projects and tasks. May coordinate and facilitate meetings, program functions, and/or special events, as appropriate.  Is responsible for administrative activities and reporting across multiple departments.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Coordinate  schedules and administrative duties for  new manager and new medical director orientation meetings
  2. Support new employee orientation documentation process
  3. Administer various employee engagement and recognition programs under the departments purview, including program announcements and reminders
  4. Create and maintain databases for training documents submitted by facilities
  5. Distribute/collect training program information to/from corporate and site employees
  6. Responsible for all training department email correspondence relate to training materials and training programs
  7. Maintain and update department training library, contact lists, etc.
  8. Print, copy, fax, email and mail various documents to facilities, as necessary
  9. Provide various other support services to Training and Program Development Department as needed

Standard office environment in an office setting at the Wexford Health Sources Corporate Offices in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED equivalent

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel and publisher
  • Experience with Office Equipment (e.g., fax, copier, computers)
  • Minimum of 2 years providing clerical, secretarial or administrative support, preferably in the health care environment
