POSITION SUMMARY

Under the general guidance of the Training and Program Development Specialist, performs and/or oversees a variety of associated administrative, record keeping and/or specified information-gathering projects and tasks. Coordinates specified orientation meetings, program functions, and/or special events as appropriate. Coordinates specified administrative activities and reporting across multiple departments.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Manages process for communicating available training resources, including where they are located, how to access, and when changes occur
  2. Maintains and helps enhance training materials and library of offerings
  3. Assists in administration of training courses using the online Learning Management System (LMS)
  4. Monitors employee participation in company outlined training programs
  5. Coordinates new manager orientation meetings including logistics, registration, materials, speakers
  6. Creates and maintains document of training offerings,  including annual review of training programs to ensure they are current and  being utilized
  7. Provides various other support services to Training and Program Development Specialist as needed
  8. Maintains and initiates process for recognition programs

Standard office environment in an office setting at the Wexford Health Sources Corporate Offices in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED equivalent

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Training experience in health care environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Power Point, and Excel
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Publisher
  • Work well with others as well as able to work independently
