Wexford Health has an exceptional opportunity for a Part Time (20 hrs./week) Training and Program Development Lead to join our team of healthcare professionals at our corporate office in Green Tree, PA.


Under supervision of the Vice President of HR, the Training and Program Development (TPD) Lead is responsible for overseeing the functions of the department as well as programs involving multiple departments.


  1. Present TPD overview at new manager orientation meetings, as necessary
  2. Oversee and perform all functions related to student placement programs at facilities.  This includes working with multiple levels of company’s management as well as school program directors to put affiliation agreements in place, ensuring documents are completed to support student placements, and tracking participation of students in placement programs.
  3. Oversee and perform all functions related to employee participation in federal and state loan repayment programs, maintaining facility certification and verifying employment and in-service verifications.
  4. Oversee all functions related to continuing education programs in specific contract areas.  This includes researching licensure requirements, updating current programs in place (as necessary), enrolling employees in appropriate programs, maintaining documents regarding participation in programs and informing sites, as necessary, of the current programs in place.
  5. Oversee development of training materials and tracking.
  6. Special projects as needed

LICENSING: None required

CERTIFICATION: None required

EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED equivalent; associates degree in business preferred


  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Compliance and/or legal experience preferred
  • Health care experience a plus 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel 
  • Experience with Office Equipment (e.g., fax, copier, computers)
