PAY RATE:      up to $40.00 hourly

As an MHP-SVP Pre-Release Evaluator, you'll play a critical role in assessing individuals preparing for release and providing valuable recommendations that support treatment planning and community supervision efforts.

Position Summary

 As a Master Level Mental Health Professional – SVP Pre-Release Evaluator, you'll conduct specialized assessments and evaluations of incarcerated individuals with sexual offense histories. Working collaboratively with clinical leadership and correctional partners, you will:
 

  • Monitor release timelines and identify individuals requiring pre-release evaluations
  • Review institutional records and conduct comprehensive clinical interviews to assess treatment needs and risk factors
  • Prepare detailed evaluation reports that provide recommendations for supervision, treatment, and community-based services
  • Collaborate with clinical leadership to ensure evaluations are completed accurately and in accordance with program standards
  • Maintain timely, accurate documentation and utilize electronic medical record systems as required
  • Participate in required training, meetings, and ongoing professional development activities

You'll provide critical clinical insight that supports informed decision-making, successful reentry planning, and safer communities.

What You’ll Need

  • Master's degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Social Work, or related field
  • Current licensure as a Clinical Professional Counselor, Clinical Social Worker, or equivalent
  • Sex Offender Evaluator certification or ability to obtain within six months of hire
  • Current CPR certification
  • Two years of post-degree clinical experience preferred
  • Correctional healthcare experience preferred
  • Experience utilizing electronic medical record systems preferred
