POSITION:            IT Network Administrator
SCHEDULE:         Full-Time (40 hours per week, Mon-Fri)
OFFICE:                Wexford Health Sources, Inc. Corporate Office
LOCATION:          Green Tree – Pittsburgh, PA

POSITION SUMMARY 
The Network Administrator functions as part of the Information Technology team and is responsible for implementing and supporting the core technologies of the entire organization. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Managing LAN/WAN Connectivity (switches, routers, firewall, wireless, cabling, etc.)
  • Create and update appropriate documentation of the LAN/WAN infrastructure
  • Monitoring and Tuning of Network and Server Environments
  • Share responsibilities of Management of the VMWare Environment with the Systems Administrator
  • Share responsibilities of maintaining the SAN environment with the Systems Administrator
  • Assist the Systems Administrator to maintain server infrastructure (backups, monitoring, routine maintenance, etc.)
  • Share responsibilities of maintaining the Active Directory with the Systems Administrator
  • Manage the corporate phone system
  • Assist with Administration of Telemedicine/Polycom systems
  • HelpDesk Tickets
  • Desktop support (configuring/deploying, maintaining PC hardware and software)
  • Backup duties of the Systems Administrator as needed
  • Participating in all phases, from planning to implementation, of infrastructure solutions in support of current and future business requirements
  • Recommending Hardware & Software Purchases
  • Staying up-to-date on current and future network infrastructure technologies, capabilities and trends
  • Documenting policies & procedures
  • Travel as required to support external sites

Minimum Requirements

  • Strong understanding of Microsoft software (Server and Desktop), including Windows 10, Windows 11, Windows Server 2012 through 2022, Exchange Server 2016 on premise, Office Suites, etc.
  • Solid understanding of network fundamentals (DNS, WINS, DHCP, VPN)
  • Solid experience with SonicWall Firewalls and Wireless technology
  • Experience with Brocade network switches
  • Experience with Cisco routers and Meraki technology
  • Experience with HP Nimble SAN Technology
  • Experience with VMWare server technology
  • Must have expertise in specifying, testing, deploying and troubleshooting commercial hardware and software. 
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and document solutions and educational material
  • Ability to regularly investigate and solve non-routine problems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate with senior management; demonstrated ability to communicate solutions and educate
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to perform at a high level of effectiveness in a fast pace environment, managing multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent interpersonal/customer service skills; ability to work well with end users and vendors
