POSITION:           Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
SCHEDULE:         Full Time, Monday-Friday 8:00AM – 4:30PM
FACILITY:             Northern New Hampshire Correctional Facility (onsite)
LOCATION:          Berlin, NH

POSITION SUMMARY:
As a correctional PMHNP, you will be able to expect the following:

  • Provide psychiatric/mental health services in an outpatient setting
  • Utilize professional medical skills to meet a variety of physical and mental health care needs, with psychiatry as primary focus. 
  • Interacts with a variety of health care professionals and security staff in a correctional environment.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Licensing

Current New Hampshire Nurse Practitioner required

Current New Hampshire Controlled Substance license required

Current DEA required

Certification

Current CPR certification

 

Education

Certification from an accredited college/university as an Advanced Practice Nurse

Preferred experience

2 years clinical experience preferred.  Correctional healthcare experience a plus
