POSITION: Tele-Psychologist
SCHEDULE:  Full-Time 
FACILITY:  Pontiac Correctional Center
LOCATION:  Pontiac, Illinois
PAY RANGE: $45 per hour to $60 per hour

What You’ll Do
Clinical Care

  • Conduct psychological evaluations, assessments, and screenings for patients.
  • Develop and implement tailored treatment plans to address mental health needs.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to help patients achieve wellness.
  • Administer and interpret psychological tests when needed.

Crisis Intervention

  • Serve as a key member or leader of the Crisis Intervention Team.
  • Provide rapid assessments and support for patients experiencing psychological crises.
  • Train and supervise crisis team members to ensure effective responses.

Collaboration & Consultation

  • Work with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care.
  • Consult with facility staff on mental health strategies and individual cases.
  • Coordinate with psychiatrists to address medication needs and care for special populations.

Administrative Duties

  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation using an electronic medical record system.
  • Submit monthly summary reports to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in program development, evaluation, and staff training efforts.

What You’ll Bring

  • Education: Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology.
  • Licensing: Active Clinical Psychologist license in Illinois.
  • Preferred Experience: Clinical settings, mental health care delivery, and proficiency with EMR systems.
  • Certification: CPR certification (accepted providers: American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or American Safety and Health Institute).
