POSITION:       Certified Nursing Assistant 
SCHEDULE:    Opportunities available for day, evening, and night shifts
FACILITY:        Western Correctional Center 
LOCATION:     Mt. Sterling, Illinois 62353
PAY RATE:      $20.00

Position Summary
As an CNA at our facility, you’ll play a hands-on role in delivering care to a vulnerable population under the guidance of RNs and medical providers. Some responsibilities include:

• Assisting with activities of daily living and therapeutic interventions
• Taking vital signs and monitoring patient conditions
• Providing wound care and changing dressings
• Supporting documentation and care planning
• Promoting hygiene, sanitation, and a safe environment for all patients
• Serving as a vital part of a multidisciplinary treatment team

What You’ll Need

• Nursing Assistant Certificate required (correctional experience preferred).
• Active CPR certification—Accepted: 
• American Red Cross  
• American Heart Association 

• Excellent clinical judgment and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
• A compassionate, nonjudgmental approach to patient care.
