POSITION: Dental Assistant
SCHEDULE: Part-time: Tuesday and Thursday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
FACILITY: Anthony Correctional Center
LOCATION: White Sulphur Springs, WV

Wexford Health Sources, Inc. has been delivering quality healthcare to underserved populations for over 30 years. As a Dental Assistant, you’ll play a hands-on role in supporting patient care and ensuring smooth, efficient dental operations.
Position Summary
Working under the supervision of the Dentist, you’ll assist in providing dental care while maintaining a safe, clean, and well-organized clinical environment. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the dentist chair-side during exams and procedures
- Preparing patients for treatment and supporting dental hygiene education
- Sterilizing instruments and maintaining infection control standards
- Setting up and breaking down treatment areas and equipment
- Taking and processing intra-oral x-rays as permitted
- Maintaining accurate patient records within the medical record system
- Managing dental supplies, inventory, and equipment maintenance
- Supporting dental sick call and emergency screenings
- Ensuring the dental clinic remains clean, stocked, and ready for daily operations

You’ll help create a smooth, supportive experience that keeps patient care moving forward.
What You’ll Need
- High School diploma or GED required
- Experience working in a dental setting and/or correctional health care preferred
- CPR certification required
- Dental certification preferred
