POSITION: Psychiatric Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
SCHEDULE: Opportunities available for day, evening, and night shifts
FACILITY: Central NM CF
LOCATION: Los Lunas, NM
PAY RATE: $3000 Sign-on Bonus

As a Psychiatric LPN, you’ll work alongside registered nurses, providers, and behavioral health professionals to help patients achieve greater stability, safety, and well-being.
Position Summary
Under the clinical guidance of a Registered Nurse, you’ll assist in delivering nursing and behavioral health care through assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, medication administration, and patient education. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with physical, psychological, and social assessments and individualized treatment planning
- Administering medications and implementing medical and mental health treatment plans in accordance with provider orders
- Monitoring patients, taking vital signs, providing basic nursing care, and responding to physical and emotional needs
- Documenting nursing encounters, patient responses, complications, and other relevant clinical information
- Collaborating with registered nurses, providers, correctional staff, and other members of the treatment team
- Supporting patient education, activities of daily living, infection control, and a safe, therapeutic environment
You’ll go beyond providing routine nursing care.
You’ll offer consistency, compassion, and clinical support to patients navigating complex mental health challenges.

What You’ll Need
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current, unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse license in the state of practice
- Current CPR certification
